Intel buys McAfee, McAfee up 50%

IntelMcAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) opened higher today after the news came that Intel has purchased McAfee. The stock almost went up 50% in stock price, and with the purchase of McAfee, Intel can become one of the very big internet security companies.

Currently, more than 132 million shares of McAfee have been traded. On the other side, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) stocks fell down more than 3.50% in stock value. It is because of the company buying McAfee.

A higher trading volume was seen in both companies stocks. Analysts believe that stocks of both companies are going to gain in the future and have given them a buy rating.
